Recommend.my has a partnership with Allianz Malaysia. If you have purchased the “Smart Home Cover” policy from Allianz Malaysia, you are eligible to claim the cost of selected home maintenance repairs done by Recommend.my.
The home repairs can include*
- Plumbing: repair of burst pipe
- Door, window, locks repair arising from theft
- Aircon repair or service, plumbing, electrical wiring, painting, roofing and locksmith (once a year)
- Pest Control (once a year)

How to claim the cost of your home repair from Allianz Smart Home Cover policy
To submit a claim to Allianz for your home repair:
- The home repair must be listed in your Allianz Smart Home Cover policy (you may need to check with your Allianz agent, or Allianz customer care to make sure)
- You must have requested the home repair through Recommend.my
- You paid for the home repair online through Recommend Pay system (in other words, you did not pay the repairman directly with cash)
- You need to submit the receipt of your Recommend Pay payment to Allianz. To download the receipt:
- View your job details at Recommend.my
- Click on the “payments” tab for that job
- Click on the payment number to view it
- Click on “PRINT” to print it, or save to your device as PDF
- You will need to submit other supporting documents as required by Allianz. Examples include photos of the works done, police report (if claiming for repairs due to theft), etc. Please check with your Allianz agent, or Allianz customer care on the documents needed.
